JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 17

No it does not outweigh the consequence of chinese imports to America. It does not balance out because U.S will keep on depending the supplies from China, which will be bad because likely as this keeps happening, China will be able to take control over U.S. Then also including the payments being paid to other country is another disadvantage because they are losing money which is important to keep an economy going, and well organization. Not also they are losing the money  that is being spent on,but could have been another situation for where in the U.S, people would have gotten jobs and well paid in their investments, which in the U.S has problems with the economy and low level of jobs gien out to people. In conclusion, there is no outwiegh of the consequence of Chinese imports to America.

Should people do better things to the world?

I think that maybe people should reconsidered about being thankful for things they have and should have the moment to realize that they are able to be here with everyone even though you may think you are alone. It doesn't matter because everyday you'll see people everywhere and the population of people is increasing going high, but for that matter there is always that option that you should do better because now that many new ideas were brought up in the new generation, there fore it makes sense to make a better environment to people because it would be all better if there was great things happening but then also it would be better knowing that the society of the whole world is calm and peace with one another doing successful things.

-How does the irony in "Lamb to the Slaughter" by Roald Dalh make the story memorable?

 Roald Dalh makes the story "Lamb to the Slaughter" memorable by using different kinds of irony making it more interesting. For example, the author explained that the wife, Mary, had tricked the police officers into thinking that she had found her husband dead on the floor.This can make the reader feel excited because of the epic suspense that is being tossed around. Also this is dramatic irony because the reader only sees Mary's point of view, which the characters can't see. For another example that had happened in the story was that Mary tricked the police officers into eating the lamb that was evidence to the killing of her husband. This is also irony because of the situation of the policer officers eating the lamb that could have brought happiness to this because all of this is all wrong. This can also explain that if she was caught then, the police officer could've known what she was up to.

Are cellphones safe to use while driving?

    Cellphones are not safe to use while driving, it is reckless and dangerous. To relate to this, people can see the rating for many different types of death for people. The most many people die from is car  crashes because they used their cellphones while driving which is why it is the concept we have a law saying we can't drive while using the cellphones. It can cause many problems such as money in the United States, estimate the price or value of the accident, for example it was said that the damage was assessed at $5 billion in 2008.  There is many reasons to why about the situation and why on the opposite side of the explanation, but the safety of others is more important.

What do you do on Christmas?

What I do on Christmas is relax and open Christmas gifts from each other as the morning is busy with many other people enjoying themselves. The things I get for my friends is probably the best drawings I can make, share with my favorite drink Coke, and something like nice for them that I think is something they may like. I enjoy Christmas by seeing others able to get presents from others that shows that they really care for and makes them feel happy and cared because giving a gift in a special holiday that many people do today is something that you feel part of. I think that I can enjoy myself when ever I want to and make the best out og things even with he holidays.

I think that junk food should be banned from vending machines at high schools. The junk food being sold at the vending machines are very expensive just for little tiny bags, so that's not even worth it to buy when you can buy a big bag at Food 4 Less for like $2.the strategy for some school to get all kds spend all thier money on the vending machines. For example the previous time you buy a little tiny Cheetos bag from the vending machine for a dollar but when you see someone passing by with a big bag then you feel mad because you could saved that dollar and earn up another  which is so easy. Then the junk food are really unhealthy for kids to be eating. Eating those kinds of food can lead to obesity which is very dangerous because there are many different types. However though the alternative is junk food should be banned from vending machines.

What's a Good Friend

      A good friend is someone who will be there when things go wrong, someone who knows you and respects you, someone who's chill with you. The best things are to have a friend when your feeling down because it feels nice knowing someone cares for you, trying to help you. When someone feels down, it sucks for them because everything seems to be sad and confusing, then when that friend is there for you, it's like you just got saved from the devil's path. Even throught the thick and thin it's always nice for a friend to be there with you to cherish the moments.

Academic Language Written Assessment Week 8 10/18

The Ten Commandments shouldn't be taught at public schools. The best CATEGORY best fits in, is the church because people go there when they want to go. It is place where people take you serious, and where people believe the same religion. Also, school is a place where kids learn about everyhing that will get them prepare for college. Then with CONSUMINGnformation, its possible you may get a little carried away with it and behind, since there's more to learn about. Another example is keeping the saftey of others, it may cause problems such as teasing one another's religion leading to fights which isn't a good ROLE for a student.

You should have at least one friend

You should have at least one friend, you don't need to have have five or more to feel better. Having at least a friend could be easier to go out with others, because you don't need to worry paying more for others. I think that with one friend you could tell them about everything because it's only between you and that friend Chelsea M. has been best friends with her friend Gabby since the first grade and still is till today. Either way don't worry about having just one friend because you'll do better, you won't be caught up  in all the problems kids are doing today.

I had a nice weekend.

I had a nice weekend because I had no one bother me, I also relaxed without any stress, and slept a lot through the day. I was still asleep until afternoon, hungry for breakfast. When I woke up I was so tired that I didn't wanted to get out of bed so I stayed there till I got bored of myself. As, I was relaxing on my bed I just realized that maybe I should be more thankful for things, its just I had more time alone to focus what is more important. Then the whole house went out for a movie to see, it was something with the wall flower, everybody was looking forward to seeing, no one was regretting  going to the theaters, we were all just amused and thought how cool the movie turned out to be. The movie turned out to be the best nominated movie ever to be, it got five thumbs up. I guess the movie was first to be a book and then turned out to a movie which got more hits. In conclusion I had a nice weekend with no distraction getting through the way.

Many people should relax.

As through my opinion I believe, everyone should be at appease along with a nice considerate expression to all people, generating a nice warmth satisfaction. Decrying that if most of the majority the situation was like this, less stress would be incline to you and you wouldn't be featuring these different emotions, capable to compromise through the day. Usually when your in a good mood, everything naturally sympathizes to a better off day for you, people respecting you and visualizing more substances  out there in the world. It is said that scientist see more solutions to if you ignore the negativity, more positive will come out of it, and many books or magazines explaining, helping others to see happiness more through life. To conclude, live life, and try to make things better for yourself and others, no one else can see that within you.

Every person has the right of speech

Every person has the right of speech, integrity, and to vote for what you think it is right, if you don't vote or associate with any of these special occasions subsequently, therefore it is futile of the central theme for citizens to retain those civil liberties. The incentive of logic sense to this is for our kind of society in the United States  to verbalize their intelligence to justify what will enhance the social order. Also, people should think about the debates between Obama and Romney. In the moment people should appreciate the entitlement of what they are given and catch the sight of how much equality and impartiality United States of America is different with the public of the nation.

You don't have to have things to make you happy

 You don't have to make yourself happy with certain things, such like money and fame with luxurious. It is alright  to have money but depending on how you come to act to it, can come in different directions to the person.

The morning is better than night

I like it when I wake up, everything seems to be back alive, everything is all reborn, and seeing the sunlight. In the morning you get to see the beautiful skies that are rising from dawn, having a perfect view looking up, seeing all the different birds flying and then hear them like the sounds of a humming bird.  I like that when I wake up, I see the sunlight, it brings a warmth feeling, it brightens the day filling the day with colors it's missing as you go along the way. Then knowing that it's a new day will bring a good smirk on your face because it reminds you of the good times and it's a nice feeling to have. Then in the morning everybody loves sleeping in, it gives relaxation able to wake up in the afternoon, not having no one to annoy because your just kicking it in your bed. In my opinion I believe that the best first thing in the day is your first meal, having breakfast eating all the hash browns with orange juice just having a nice full meal. In conclusion, I think that the morning is better than night because it lightens up the day.

What kind of career I would like to do?

The kind of career I would like to do, is be a lawyer, I think that it is the best successfull profession for someone to make a pursuit. The expance of the investment they make is 40k to 80k depending to which kind of appearance they take act on. The payment they receive is a nice way for a person to be financing, for it gives nice living styles to this person, a better way succeding your future.May other information, lawyers make a great representation to themselves within great knowledge, physical appearance, and a very mature respectable attitude upom they give off. In conclusion, I believe it is a great oppurtunity for me beacause it will benefit me here in life and later on.

Should vaccinations be required for all children?

I think that children should be given the vaccination as a required substance to keep your child safe and also for any other children. Many people conforms that they believe it is very dangerous in their belief, it has been heard that it can derive into a disease called Oasis ,and it is to be given for life with massive potential skills. However though it has been estimated some what it is very little that young kids are discovered with it, 95%. In some like for example Ms. Priester has indicate that the positive of getting in the vaccine beats the odds of the negative. She explained that if your were to have two children playing in the playground, one is four yrs. old and the other is a yr. old. The older wasn't given the vaccination for the same reason spoken right  now, and as she is playing, the young one is around but for the fact that the 4 yr. old hasn't gotten it, it is likely she will die but will spread it to the yr. old which would die , too. Therefore, it is illustrated for the young child to be vaccinated for your safety of your kids and anyone else around you.

I had a nice day

I think I had a nice day, I slept through the day which was a nice day to be spending it. I came from school and startded to do hw but I guess I didn't save it, it's alright though cause I had a nice day. As I thought I finish my hw, I went to the vending machine and bought myself three or two bags of hotcheetos which I think tasted good it didn't fill me up but it did give me good a flavor. So then I started watching t.v. I started falling alseep on it and when I woke up I felt myself good and everything. So then I would have to d\say I had a good day and I got hw finished, so it'a all good.

What is something you do well?

I think that everyone can do well in anything, they just got to look for it and maybe you can exceed more with that passion you found doing great with. Many people usually find their careers in what they're best more at. This kind of sport, habit, or unique way  you like to do can go big for you and may become a big career for you and it somthing you like. For example, like the movie The Blind Side is this young boy who is very well in playing football and gradually, he made it to the NFL's. I think that based on the movie it tells you that you can succed in life whether what position you are in because you can get out it and make things better. Believe in your dreams and accomplish them , what's not better than havaing the feeling you finished somthing because you tried your best and it worked.

What I like to do

What I like to do is hang out with my closest friends, do anything that is relaxing,  and you know having a great time. Nothing much can make me mad, I usually go with anything, I'm an easy going person, when I"m hanging out I like to eat out too. I'll probably be eating a whopper, In-n-Out, carne asada burrito, carne asada fries, rainbow roll, I don't know something good you know. I like to feel nice about everything, I just know that as time goes by I'm have no regrets with life. Like in the day, I'll be hanging out at the beach cruising through and like then there's the end of the day and your looking at the sunset, feeling good about everything, so yeah that's what I like to do, there's more but yeah.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 4

No I don't think that sports has gone too far because kids know the precautions and steps into what they are getting into. For, example in high school, the coaches don't just pick kids out like that, they have a process for them, they get their health history, your physical  test, and the look at your grades if there somewhat good so that the students can play. As they are signing up it explains the rules and what's appropriate , the things that are needed for the athlete, about the outcome if you get hurt, so there is warning for when your about to get into a sport. I just believe in my opinion that kids are now know the outcomes and usually being in sport keeps you active, motivated, and I think it actually helps out more kids with their grades because as when  in playing, they want to their players to show that they are the best in anything and not also are they professionals in sports but very highly educated.

The world can be a nice place

I think people should just relax and should learn the different things on the world like get facinated with something and in your belief you'll think its cool because you can see a imagination that others can't see. Those who love cooking knows what its like cooking cause they can see the passion that gets to them, the taste. Those who love photograhy in which I believe they can see anything cool with through everything, if they take a picture, they can explain what so sensational about it. Plus thats why it's so cool cause you put your own mind together. Its just, you know making things around you nice and everything.

Do the right thing.

I think people should do the right thing, because it sounds right, like respectful and everything. Like why would you want to do something wrong like for example hurting someone in any kind of way. Yea maybe this person was a jerk to you and you wanted to get revenge or something like that. Well I think it sounds pretty dumb your like thinking about a person you don't like at all, trying to figure out ways to hurt this person, just ignore them but still respect them at the same time, like this may sound silly,but its more the way to go. I think that this will make you a better person cause your dealing with something that's not necessary and your the one trying to make the best out of or a least acknowledge, common sense.

People should be whatever

People should feel whatever they want to feel, they should feel what they want to do, or just feel whatever they want to believe. Today many people talk about the excitement of growing up, being able go to college, being mad  for people hurting them  and some that are sad because they're dealing with their frustration. Then there's like people explaining what's normal and what's not normal I don't think there is such thing like that. It's alright to explain your point of view and see what you believe in. Its just like you know its whatever, you shouldn't let like little things get in your way in happiness or worry about others, cause your living your own life. Just know that everybody in the world feels the same emotions you've had, but it may be hard for someone else to understand you. That's why you should stay strong and be on with it.

Do video game makers have the right to sell violent video games to minors?

I believe in my opinion that video game makers do not have the right to sell violent video games to minors because of the displays showing to them. Showing this kind of things to kids are inappropriate, minors learn things and that will Derive into a habit in seeing things that the character  does. Also, it is  dangerous to be in those kind of situation because you may never know why the video game makers are selling violent video games especially to kids. They may likely may be using drugs, or may try to find other ways for them to get to kids. That's why they should go to jail because it will keep like people like that out of the streets out of the environment. Keeping the world more safer than ever just even by putting little by little away. Analyze and examine the life and think about whether or not they should go to jail.

Academic Vocab Written Assessment Week 2

I think people who harass people through the TEXT message should go to jail. It is very dangerous for someone to be violating someone with text messages, anything could go wrong. If someone is harassed constantly, it can AFFECT that person negatively. For example,  it can lead to suicide or homicide. If people MAINTAIN a behavior of harassing other, it can also lead to a decrease of self-esteem. In conclusion, people should have consequences for harassing other via TEXT or through social networking sites.

You should talk about your feelings?

 People should talk about their feeling because its not right for someone to bottle their feelings. You should have at least a friend who could talk to .you and comprehend with you, to let you know that they are there for you. Many people experience with this kind of situation where they feel angry, sad, and biter, it's alright because everyone has their moments. Just try at least to talk about you feelings.

Why should people stay in school?

People should stay in school because it will effect them later in the future. Nowadays it's very difficult for people to get a simple job because the economy is getting worse. Therefore kids should take all the advantages such as scholarships. Later in life you'll regret why you ditched school, why  you missed around, instead of studying. All the chances you could've taken, could've made you a better person, making your life better, knowing that you did your best and  in the end you accomplished it.

What is something you like about yourself

I feel fine the way I am about myself , I don't think I'm perfect or anything but its just nice to be myself.. Nothing much I like about myself, Its like whatever, I like about just anything with myself , not like in love with myself, just nice. I like about how I can be independent on the streets, just have an idea what to do.  i thing that I like my smile because people tell me that I have a nice smile and i thing that I can make really good friends. I like my turtle necklace I have on me, I will never take it off because someone special gave it to me.
